Thanks to Feline Friends, Mary has a new lease of life

Mary was rescued by Feline Friends last October 2014 after her owner died. It soon became obvious she had problems with her rear legs and was grumpy and uncomfortable. X-rays showed she had suffered a major blow to her legs, probably by a car. One leg had been broken and left to heal naturally, the other leg had a badly damaged knee. Her knee cap had been knocked around the side of the joint and had set there, so the joint was dislocated. The vet confirmed this had likely been the case for over a year. This poor little youngster had been living in pain for a long time. Surgery was performed to correct her knee costing £900. But now Mary is like a different cat - she plays and runs around. Thanks to Feline Friends, Mary is now a happy little cat.
